Véronique Nyberg is a woman passionate about art in general. As such, she could have become a painter, a profession she is also particularly fond of. However, it is in the chemical sector that Véronique Nyberg oriented her education. At first, she opted for the path of organic chemistry before letting herself be sucked in by perfumes. She then joined IFF as a chemist with the firm intention of making a name for herself in this great brand of international renown. She no longer hid her ambition to become a perfumer and was thus trained by IFF on the subject. She discovered the constraints and requirements of functional perfumery, a sector that she tamed for a year before joining the IFF perfume school in Grasse with the aim of designing full-fledged perfumes. In this place, She learned to tame delicate plants such as jasmine or rose. She also learned about the use of multiple synthetic materials. Then, it was in New York that she began to formulate her first perfumes. Véronique Nyberg has been part of the IFF company for 13 years now. The inspiration of Véronique Nyberg
If Véronique Nyberg loves perfumery so much, she admits that it is largely because she sees it as a kind of refuge. “Today’s world is not always very cheerful and a beautiful message of love is always a bearer of envy, beauty and joy! Moreover, among her many creations, she admits to having been particularly marked by the perfume L’Amour Fou by Emmanuel Ungaro. She made it her own perfume, her signature. The latter turns out to be very feminine, sophisticated and delicate and she finds herself fully in the latter. Likewise, Véronique Nyberg does not hesitate to draw her inspiration from her memories or from the places that rock her daily life. For example, she has a special attachment to Guerlain’s iconic Shalimar, which was her grandmother’s perfume.
Véronique Nyberg now has a very wide range of creations. She has notably collaborated with the houses Thierry Mugler, Lancôme, Paco Rabanne and Jimmy Choo. Thus, it happens to him to create essences which correspond to him fully while others are very distant from his universe. More often than not, Véronique Nyberg’s name is synonymous with magnetic and sensual elixirs, both romantic and intoxicating. However, her creativity has no limits and Véronique Nyberg thus manages to illustrate herself in many different styles.
