The rose is a great classic of perfumery that the talented perfumer Camille Goutal very often enjoys working with. Moreover, it would be the favorite flower of her mother, herself a perfumer and named Annick Goutal. Also, this designer very recently brought this powerful symbol of femininity up to date with the Rose Pompon fragrance. To do this, she surrounded herself with another talented employee: Philippine Courtière.
The talent of a designer working in the shadows
Philippine Courtière is a name that is still little known in the world of perfumery but nevertheless possesses an undeniable talent. The latter has been working as a perfumer at Firmenich since January 2009. In addition, it is a Swiss perfume creation company founded in 1895. A true giant of perfumery, Firmenich has on its staff the biggest names in the olfactory universe. It is therefore a real prestige for Philippine Courtière to be able to work for this company for so many years now. Likewise, the fact of collaborating in the creation of Rose Pompon with Camille Goutal only increased its notoriety. However, note that this is not his only creation. Indeed, that same year, Philippine Courtière signed the creation of a duo of essences for the Oriflame brand, named Incognito. With three creations in barely a year, Philippine Courtière seems to be on the path of boundless creativity and it could well be that she will be talked about more and more in the years to come… To be continued!
